Bluze comes from a Hip Hop background, a producer alongside Indian Ropeman in the UK Hip Hop crew First Down, signed to Blitz Vinyl to record the World Service LP and Mad Dogs and Englishmen EP; He lead a double life in the 90’s making Hip Hop during the week, and raving at the weekend - his first release was actually a house track on BMG New York when he was 19. As hardcore turned to jungle and then to Drum and Bass, Bluze turned too, and has been making d’n’b full-on for the last 10 years, releasing tunes on Polyrhythmic, P+, DS Enterphonics, Lacerba and most recently Renegade Recordings as one half of ‘Morph and Bluze’. In his quieter moments, he still likes to shift down a couple of gears, producing chilled hip hop and downtempo electronica. Recently this deepness has started to creep into his drum and bass too; His latest tune, Interference, is currently being played out by the likes of Marcus Intalex.
